2011 Pro Angling Staff Announced
Apr 28, 2011
The Wilderness Systems Pro Staff is made up of well-respected athletes who are innovating the growing sport of kayak fishing. With pride of sponsorship and gratitude for their contributions to improving the paddling experience for all anglers, Wilderness Systems welcomes back the full Pro Staff roster from 2010 to represent the brand in 2011.“Much of the success and explosive growth of kayak fishing is directly attributable to the men on this list,” said Confluence VP and Chief Marketing Officer, Cheri McKenzie. “From the Wildy side, our Pro Staff are critical collaborators in the ongoing mission to build the best fishing kayaks and create the most functional accessories. When you buy something from the Wilderness Systems kayak fishing line, you have the assurance that it was designed, tested and proven by world-class paddlers and world-class anglers.”
Wildy Pro Staff members are not only goodwill ambassadors for the sport of kayak fishing, but also they are fierce competitors and dedicated anglers. With a collected history of tournament fishing, retail and merchandising experience, research and development, guiding and teaching, the Wildy Pro Staff is accessible to all. For retailers and fellow kayak anglers, alike, the Pro Staff members have a widespread presence and a palpable, unrelenting enthusiasm for their sport.
“We love chasing big fish in hard to reach places, and Wilderness Systems kayaks are the best tools available for getting us there,” said Pro Staff Director, Chad Hoover. “In the Wilderness Systems fishing world, there is no body of water too big or too small, no location too remote or access too limited. It is the number one reason why I am successful in reaching bass and gamefish where no other craft can. Wilderness Systems kayaks are the most dependable, durable, and comfortable fishing kayak on the water,” he added.
The 2011 Wilderness Systems Pro Staff reflects the widespread and growing nature of the sport.
