Exemplifying expertise in the angling market, Wilderness Systems Pro Staff Director, Chad Hoover, was recently selected by ESPN’s premier fishing website Bassmaster.com for a recurring role as kayak fishing series contributor. Hoover, who authored the book Kayak Bass Fishing, is writing a weekly column to offer fishing tips based on his experience and accomplished background as a competitive bass fisherman and guide.
Considered to be among the foremost writers and commentators in the industry on kayak fishing, and more particularly, kayak bass fishing, Hoover was chosen to write the recurring column by Kenneth Duke, Senior Editor at BASS Publications. Duke strongly believes the kayak fishing movement is here to stay and finds it necessary to serve its practitioners on Bassmaster.com.
"As the world's most popular and visited fishing web site, Bassmaster.com is always looking to align itself with the leaders in our industry and to provide the very best bass fishing content available,” explains Kenneth Duke. “Chad Hoover is one of those leaders, and the insight into kayak bass fishing that he offers is going to be invaluable to our visitors. It's a natural connection and one I'm looking forward to continuing for a long time."
As Pro Staff Director for Wilderness Systems, Hoover heads up the Wildy Pro Staff kayak fishing team whose members bring massive experience, recognition and expertise to events, shows and tournaments throughout the country. With the goal to grow the sport of kayak fishing, they are passionate ambassadors for the sport and spokespeople for the Wilderness Systems brand.
