Bill Schultz

Bill Schultz is a contributing writer for www.smallmouths.com, www.lake-link.com and other various outdoor magazines.  His focus has been the big waters of Green Bay in Door County, Wisconsin and the small rivers and lakes of southern Wisconsin.  Bill is a popular seminar speaker at the Milwaukee Journal/Sentinel Sports Show, Bass Pro Outdoor World Fishing Classic in Chicago, Chicagoland Sports Show, Madison Fishing Expo, Wisconsin and Illinois Smallmouth Alliances and regional fishing clubs. In 2010, he will be a featured presenter at Canoecopia, the largest kayak/canoe expo in the country.

When asked why he loves kayak fishing, Bill replied, "Kayak fishing adds yet another dimension to my fishing arsenal.  We have many lakes west of Milwaukee that cannot be fished with a motorized boat, yet have good populations of smallmouth bass and largemouth bass.  My Wilderness Systems kayak gives me access to these lakes, as well as a number of rivers, like the Wisconsin River, that are perfect for kayak fishing.  I really like the quiet aspect of kayak fishing and the exercise benefits."

Bill has been featured in Bassmaster Magazine, Outdoor Life and a variety of other publications.  Bill has appeared on segments for Fishing the Midwest with Bob Jensen and Outdoor Wisconsin.  Bill is an enthusiastic and knowledgeable kayak angler who feels kayak fishing adds an extremely enjoyable dimension to his fishing arsenal.

Bill also loves hiking and racquetball and is a member of the Wisconsin Racquetball Hall of Fame.  He lives with his wife, Rebecca, and three cats, Tiger Lilly, Motor and Sadie.
