Angling
Chris LeMessurier
Chris operates his kayak fishing guide service to share his passion with anglers from all over the Great Lakes region. The waters in and around Michigan offer diverse options for multiple species, and Chris uses his Commander 120, Tarpon 140, or Ride 135 to find them, depending on the location, conditions and body of water. He specializes in tasty salmon and explosive northern pike and musky. Chris admits that the he really enjoys the customer favorite, sight-fishing for huge small mouth bass in the boulder fields of Lake Huron’s shoreline.
Chris has fished in tournaments in Michigan, Virginia, Wisconsin and Florida placing well in each event. He was featured on the front cover of Kayak Angler in the Spring of 2008. He holds International Game Fish Association (IGFA) state records, all caught from a kayak.
He is also an American Canoe Association (ACA) Kayak Instructor.
Chris believes that "kayak fishing, and the experience of being part of the water, is truly unmatched by any other form of fishing."
