CJ Siebler
When asked what the CJ stands for, he responds with a sly grin “Csueper Jeanyus, but most people just call me Siebler!” He helps operate one of the largest kayak fishing stores the country – OEX Dive and Kayak – and also produces a line of fishing lures specifically for kayak anglers under the brand name Csueper Jeanyus Innovations.
Though he was only recently able to order his first beer, CJ has 10 years of kayak fishing experience and has literally rigged hundreds of kayaks. Beyond standard outfitting configurations, he specializes in advance wiring and electronics. He has a genuine desire to help other anglers and pass on the knowledge he soaked up while fishing with some of the best kayak anglers in the country. He is never too busy to take the time and help ensure new anglers find the right kayak for their needs or help them create a custom application for their kayaks.
Aside from kayak fishing, CJ loves to hunt. He is especially passionate
about waterfowl hunting and using the kayak to access
backwater waterfowl habitats. He also enjoys spearfishing
and making his kayak an all around great tool for all his hobbies.

Favorite Wilderness Systems Kayak: Tarpon 160, for its unmatched efficiency in the SOT world
Must-Have Accessory or Gear: "Paddle Leash. It Drives me Insane when I forget mine, Always worried about loosing the paddle. For such an inexpensive piece of equipment it is a great thing to have."
Favorite Place to Fish: lower Colorado River and the lakes attached to it
Favorite Species to Fish: largemouth bass in freshwater and spotted bay bass in the salt
Favorite Rod 'n Reel: "For light inshore and bass fishing I love the Daiwa Coastal reels. They are bulletproof and smooth, working great in both freshwater and the salt. I pair these up with a rod from Esox Fishing rods, model depending on the technique I'm using."
Favorite Bait/Lure: freshwater bass - crankbait; saltwater bass - spinnerbait
Why CJ Loves Kayak Fishing: "The ease and Simplicity of Kayak Fishing are definitely top of my list. Also You just cant beat the kayak when you need to squeeze into an area the boat just wont fit such as many of the outlets we fish on the Colorado River."
