Angling
Erick Bell
Erick Bell began kayak fishing to access areas that cannot be reached by conventional means. To Eric, kayak fishing offers a challenging thrill to target various species in both salt water and fresh water. He believes it is fishing in its most basic form, and the thrill of finding a fish, making the perfect cast and landing it from the kayak is like no other fishing
experience.
Erick primarily uses his Tarpon 140 to target inshore salt water species like redfish, trout and snook and also uses his Ride 135 and Commander 120 to fish for large mouth bass.
Erick founded Florida’s popular One Lure Challenge (OLC) Tournament Series and is a regular competitor in tournaments across the Southeast. Eric has taken 1st in the Jacksonville Kayak Fishing Classic trout division, Florida Sportsman Super Lure, Osprey Bay Redfish Division and numerous other wins in team events.
