Jeff Suber

jeff suber

Jeff is a self-professed shallow water redfish fanatic and loves nothing more than catching them on top waters and spoons. He routinely spends eight hours or more in this pursuit and claims that there is no more comfortable kayak than his Tarpon 160.

In 2006, he organized the Forgotten Coast Kayak Anglers website as a live-action knowledge base for Forgotten Coast and Big Bend area kayak fishermen.  With the help of fellow anglers and local and national sponsors they produce the largest charity kayak fishing tournament on the Florida’s West coast. The event benefits Meals on Wheels at the Wakulla Senior Services Center .

Jeff says that he was attracted to kayak fishing for the added sense of adventure. He has always gravitated towards challenges.  He loves the freedom and the unlimited opportunity to explore the inshore habitats that he loves to fish.
