Team Wilderness

By day, Alex Post is a Marine Biologist for the NOAA Observer Program, having spent several years at sea working aboard offshore commercial fishing vessels. In his free time, Alex enjoys fishing the New England coastline out of his kayak. Alex is a member of Massachusetts Freedivers Spearfishing Club and competes in the North Atlantic Spearfishing Championship on a yearly basis. He employs both rod and reel and a speargun to target a variety of fish; Altantic Bonito, American Eel, Bluefish, Black Sea Bass, False Albacore, Gray Triggerfish, Scup, Striped Bass, Summer Flounder, Tautog, Winter Flounder, and other seasonal transients that ride up the Gulf Stream in the summer.
