Team Wilderness

I have been an avid fisherman almost as long as I have been an avid walker. I enjoy all forms of kayak fishing from trolling and chucking lures to fly fishing. Having grown up in Essex County, Ontario I am only a five-minute drive to Lake Erie and a 30-minute drive to either Lake St. Clair and the Detroit River.  I have had access to world class, Bass, Walleye and Muskie fishing my whole life. In 2013, I entered my first kayak tournament and have not stopped or looked back since.  I have also recently started waterfowl hunting and have found kayaking has created some great opportunities to pursue the sport of waterfowling. When not working or spending time with my family, I can often be found fishing / hunting from a kayak or standing at the launch, talking kayaking and encouraging others to give it a try.
