Stable and Responsive. Best Fishing Kayak!
Absolutely best kayak I have stepped into. Yes, you can step in and push off all while standing it's so stable and wide. What you don't expect is the amount of speed and responsiveness you're getting from a 12' yak. It can get up and go, handles super well in moving water, and is incredibly comfortable. Well thought out design.
Extremely stable and fun to fish out of
I've used the ATAK 120 since it hit the market. It's stability is incredible even though I'm a big guy pushing 250lbs. I can stand easily and even fly fish out of it. The low profile means it is less suseptable to wind... which is a big plus because most other kayaks tend to get pushed around a lot more in the wind than the ATAK ... just ask my buddies who fish out of other kayaks.
The perfect do-it-all boat
I owned the ATAK 140 for a few years and loved it, so I was eager to try the 120. Although it isn't quite as stable as the 140 (which is rock solid), it is very stable and really paddles well. In fact, I have out paddled guys pedaling Hobies, Natives, and the Wildy Radar. It also has great maneuverability, and it is a perfect boat for folks fishing rivers with up to class I-II water.
ATAK 120
I love my ATAK 120! The AirPro Max seat makes it easy to spend all day on the water. I never imagined standing on a kayak, but it’s easy on the ATAK 120 - the stability is awesome. I fish freshwater and saltwater bays for everything from largemouth bass to striped bass and the ATAK 120 does it all well.
I love it!
Great boat!
