Team Wilderness

Drew grew up knee deep in the streams of central PA - building dams, corralling crayfish, and catching trout. That sense of adventure never quit and he grew into a full blown river rat, spending many days wading and floating local rivers and creeks in search of giant bass.  Since then, he has spent time living in the Pacific Northwest, Southwest, and Southeast U.S., honing his skills along the way. Although mainly known as a bass fisherman, he loves to chase anything that swims. In 2011, while living in central North Carolina, he turned his passion for teaching others into a job, becoming a part-time kayak fishing guide with Froggy Waters Outdoors. He now resides in western Massachusetts where he is learning the regional waterways and helping to grow kayak fishing in New England.

In addition to Wilderness Systems, Drew’s affiliations and sponsors currently include Bending Branches, Carolina Custom Rods, Smith Optics, Columbia Sportswear and Pure Fishing Inc. He completed the B.A.S.S. Slam from a kayak in 2012, has multiple tournament wins and top-5 finishes, and regularly contributes to a variety of outdoor publications.
