Juan Veruete is a licensed fishing guide, American Canoe Association certified kayak instructor, and owner of Kayak Fish PA, LLC.  The primary focus of Juan’s guiding business is the education of kayak anglers. Through the business he conducts Guided Kayak Fishing Classes aimed at helping kayak anglers improve fishing and paddling skills. The backdrop for these classes is the Juniata and Susquehanna Rivers in central Pennsylvania which are often associated with some of the best smallmouth bass fishing in the country. Juan is also a contributor for several kayak fishing publications such as Kayak Angler Magazine and Kayak Fish. In addition he is heavily involved in writing for his own kayak fishing blog and has served as a featured clinician for a kayak fishing DVD series produced by Blue Ridge Kayak Fishing.

Juan has 40 years of fishing experience and has fished flowing water and lakes as far west as Texas. His specialty is river smallmouth bass but he is no stranger to the many other species of his home waters in Pennsylvania such as walleye, largemouth bass, pike, crappie and the illusive muskellunge.
