Team Wilderness

Kris has been an avid kayak angler for the past 7 years. Since being introduced to the sport by her husband Mark, she spends most of her time chasing flounder and red drum near Virginia Beach. Kirsten is also one of the original volunteers for the Tidewater HOW chapter, which at the time was just the second chapter in the country.

Although kayak fishing is her favorite, it is not unheard of for her to drive straight from work to the local fishing hole with her fly rod. Currently, Kris and Mark (also a Wilderness Systems fishing ambassador) live in Virginia Beach where they own and operate 1st Landing - a local kayak fishing guide service.
